Goblin Slayer Author Starts New Manga Series

 Goblin Slayer is getting a new manga series.



This time it will be written by Kumo Kagyu and illustrated by Kento Sakaeda. It's titled Goblin Slayer: Side Story Year One and it will focus on the events that took place during Goblin Slayer's first year as an adventurer.


The first volume is scheduled to release on February 15, 2018. So far, there is no word on when or if this series will be released in English.


Goblin Slayer was originally a light novel series written by Kumo Kagyu and illustrated by Noboru Kannatsuki. It began publishing in 2016 and has since spawned numerous spin-offs, adaptations, and sequels. The story follows a young man who only cares about killing goblins.

Kumo Kagyu, the author of Goblin Slayer, is launching a new manga series. The author created the popular light book series, as well as its two side tales. The author is now working on a new manga titled Moscow 2160.

The new manga series, billed as a "dystopian cold war" set in Russia, will likewise have a grim tone, similar to Kagyu's past work. As it will be serialized under the Big Gangan manga imprint, which covers seinen manga, the manga will deal with some severe subject matter. Fans of Goblin Slayer-style manga can look forward to this.

Apart from the title and a basic scenario, we don't know anything about Moscow 2160. We only know that it will deal with conflict and political issues, like Goblin Slayer did. This manga contains a lot of blood, gore, and other adult stuff.

Even the artwork depicts a key figure wearing a frightening mask. The series will be written by Kagyu and illustrated by Sekine Koutarou. The artist is well-known for his contributions to Blame!, Ninja Slayer Kills, and I Was Reincarnated with OP Invincibility, so I'll Beat 'em Up My Way as an Action-Adventurer. Kannatsuki Noboru, who created the character designs for Goblin Slayer, will also be joining Kagyu for Moscow 2160.
